UNIOSUN Cut Off Mark 2022/2023: The current UTME Cut off Mark for UNIOSUN is 180. The Osun State University is inviting candidates who made UNIOSUN their first choice in the 2022 UTME for admission into their various choice of department.

The Osun State University, UNIOSUN cut-off mark — The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has approved the minimum score requirements for admission to universities, polytechnics, and other tertiary institutions in the country. 140 has been authorised as the minimal benchmark for admissions into universities for the 2022/2023 academic year, while 100 has been approved for polytechnics and colleges of education.

According to JAMB, each institution is free to set its own cut-off mark of up to 220, but no one is permitted to go below the agreed-upon minimum marks. This institution is yet to announce its desired cut-off mark for the 2022/2023 session. The one presented below is for 2021/2022. We hope this gives you a sense of what to anticipate in 2022/2023. Following the scrapping out of post UTME by the Federal government, the Joints Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) had given a benchmark of 180 and above  for candidates applying for Universities, Polytechnics and Colleges of Education. Hitherto, the Osun State University has followed suit in the 140 general cuts of the mark of JAMB.

Candidates with higher scores are first considered in admission basics, candidates with lower scores though might meet the cut-off mark of 180 may likely not be admitted. In fact, it is the higher your scores, the higher the chance of being admitted.

UNIOSUN Cut Off Mark

UNIOSUN Departmental cut off mark is 180. Any modifications to this reduce off mark may be up to date on The University of Osun website. It has been said that most effective applicants who placed UNIOSUN as their first preference are eligible to apply.

Furthermore, UNIOSUN also has supplementary forms for candidates who did not meet the minimum cut off point for their department. Candidates are expected to have at least 5 Credits in their WASSCE or NECO Result, in addition to scoring at least 180 in the UTME.

That is the current cut off mark for all the departments in UNIOSUN. Candidates who wish to apply for admission into Osun State University, Osogbo should read about UNIOSUN Post UTME and also visit UNIOSUN Portal.

However, candidates that scored less than 200 would not be considered for admission into any of the under-listed programmes:

  • Accounting
  • Political Science
  • Nursing
  • Medicine
  • Law

Meanwhile, candidates who chose any of these courses but scored less than 200 could change to any other relevant programme of their choice.
