1. School of Agriculture and Agricultural Technology

The School of Agriculture and Agricultural Technology is composed of (7) seven departments and offer over seven (7) programmes.  The Departments are Agricultural Economics, Agricultural Extension, Animal Science and Technology, Crop Science and Technology, Fisheries and Aquaculture Technology, Forestry and Wildlife Technology, Soil Science Technology.

2. School of Basic Medical Sciences

The School of Basic Medical Sciences is composed of two (2) departments and offer more than two (2) programmes.  The Departments are Physiology and  Anatomy.

3. School of Biological Sciences

The School of Biological Sciences is composed of five (5) departments and offer over five (5) programmes.  The Departments are Biochemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Microbiology and Forensic Science.

4. School of Engineering and Engineering Technology

The School of Engineering and Engineering Technology is composed of ten (10) departments and offer over ten (10) programmes.  The Departments are Agricultural and Bio-Resources Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Food Science Technology, Material and Metallurgical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Polymer and Textile Engineering.

5. School of Electrical Systems Engineering Technology

The School of Electrical Systems Engineering Technology is composed of five (5) departments and offer over five (5) programmes.  The Departments are Department of Computer Engineering (CME), Department of Electrical (Power Systems) Engineering (EPE), Department of Electronic Engineering (ELE), Department of Mechatronic Engineering (MCE) and Department of Telecommunications Engineering (TCE).

6. School of Environmental Science

The School of Environmental Technology is composed of six (6) departments and offer over six (6) programmes.  The Departments are Architecture, Building Technology, Environmental Technology, Quantity Surveying, Surveying and Geo-informatica, Urban and Regional Planning.

7. School of Health Technology

The School of Health Technology is composed of five (5) departments and offer over five (5) programmes.  The Departments are Biomedical Technology, Dental Technology, Optometry, Prosthetics and Orthotics, Public Health Technology.

8. School of Information and Communications Technology

The School of Computing and Information Technology is composed of four (4) departments and offer over five (5) programmes.  The Departments are Computer Science, Information Technology, CyberSecurity and Software Engineering.

9. School of Management Technology

The School of Management Technology is composed of five(5) departments and offer over five(5) programmes.  The Departments are Financial Management Technology, Maritime Management Technology, Project Management Technology, Transport Management Technology and Management Technology.

10. School of Physical Sciences

The School of Physical Sciences is composed of six(6) departments and offer over six(6) programmes.  The Departments are Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Science Laboratory Technology and Statistics.
